Pick-up/Drop-off Traffic

We would like to remind everyone of the importance of safety during school pick-up and drop-off times. Our Police Community Support Officers have been actively working with us to address ongoing traffic issues outside the school, as local residents have raised concerns about the situation.

To ensure the safety of our students and the surrounding community, please be aware that parking in restricted areas (such as double yellow lines, obstructing driveways, and yellow zig-zag school markings) is unsafe as well as anti-social and can result in a Penalty Notice of £100. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our school environment safe for everyone.

Here are some key reminders:

  • Adhere to the voluntary one-way system (image above) when driving past the school, and no U-turns at the school gates.

  • When collecting Year 5 and Year 6 students, please do not wait outside the exit gate. This can obstruct the flow of exiting students. Instead, wait across the road or down the road at an agreed location with your child.

  • Consider parking on nearby roads and walking to school. This helps reduce heavy traffic flow and contributes to a safer environment for everyone.
